Essential Training

Hello!  My name is Katryna (Katy) Evans.  I am an American born, German educated "Bereiterin" (German certified horse trainer in Dressage and Jumping).  Having spent 6 years in Germany working through an apprenticeship at a large training and sales facility,  I have a lot of experience with starting and training young horses, all the way up through riding top level stallions. I have worked for multiple top professionals around the world, most recently in Wellington, FL (Lots of great references!) Since being back in the states I have also recieved my USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals.  Currently located in Wellington year round, I am available for daily training, clinics, lessons, competition day coaching and finding you your next equine partner. I am lucky enough to have fantastic, trust-worthy connections in Europe, we can find you your dream horse without the headache.  I like to always be positive and have a pleasant environment for my horses, keeping them happy and healthy is the highest priority.  Success comes from having a good mindset and a willingness to work hard, and knowing how to have a little fun with it too! I  take your horse's health and well being as seriously as humanly possible. Katryna Evans Dressage believes that owning an equine athlete is an amazing and rewarding experience, but also a responsibility, not a luxury. Training your horse properly will lead you to a greater understanding of the animal, and I firmly believe in the owner-horse relationship being one of mutual understanding and respect. Feel free to email, message or call for more details!
